“We are Jackie and Mike Veasey and we write to recognize the stellar performance by one of your agents when selling our Arlington condominium. That agent is Peggy Parker and she made what could have been an extremely difficult, frustrating, and physically demanding sale a most joyful experience. Our decision to sell was somewhat spontaneous and occurred under very inopportune circumstances. Mike was recovering from surgery and had limited mobility, several family vacations had already been planned, and we only used the condo intermittently as our residence is now 75 miles away in Warren County. Commuting to the unit is challenging enough with the traffic but Mike’s condition complicated the trip and diminished his utility in “getting things done.”That’s when Peggy came to our rescue. We made several trips into the unit to arrange for moving furniture and cleaning closets and cupboards. We had piles of household goods, accumulated over 17 years of living in the unit, for donation to the Goodwill and an equal number of piles for trash disposal. Peggy and her team took care of that for us. We had an issue with the moving company in that one piece of furniture had to be partially disassembled to get it out of the unit. While the main move occurred as scheduled, that particular piece remained in the unit for three weeks while the mover tried to find a resource to do the job. This could have held up the sales process, but Peggy ingeniously incorporated that piece into the staging of the condo. We didn’t waste any time nor miss any opportunity. While we went on vacation, Peggy continued to work with the mover to get the piece moved. When the solution finally was orchestrated, it was Peggy who met the mover and the furniture specialist, insured the move occurred as scheduled, and saved us the necessity of having to make a trip to Arlington. During the preparation for sale process, a problem developed with our electrical panel. Peggy let us know and then took care of it. A problem also arose with the air conditioning unit. We provided her our servicing contract number, but Peggy arranged for the service call and made sure the work was done.
Finally, the sun had faded our hardwood floors and areas where there were rugs had a very definite difference in appearance. Peggy knew the technician to address this issue and made all arrangements for him to do so. Each of these services that Peggy provided us saved us the miserable task of having to drive to Arlington in the morning and drive back to Warren County in the evening and for that we are most appreciative. What’s truly amazing is that Peggy did all this for us while immobilized herself due to injury. We could not be happier. We chose Peggy as our realtor because we knew of her real estate sales savvy as to pricing, advertising, staging, showing, negotiating, etc. She met every expectation in those areas as well. But the services she provided above and beyond what is normally expected are what truly set her apart.
